Hi

I am on the look out for a 4x4 to transport the dogs to a number of shoots and things. Have been looking at both petrol and diesel but was wondering what, in your opinions, is the best 4x4 to run on veg oil, id be happy running 50 veg and 50 diesel but it would need to be reliable as i cant afford too many major repairs over the next 18months.

first thoughts were terrano or isuzu 3.1?

thanks
james

the musso engine (mercedes 2.9td) will run on 100% veg oil for about 11 1/2 months of the year.

cheap as hell to fix, huuuuuge inside and just keep going. mine`s getting tuned tomorrow.

Hmmm, there is a Daewoo musso 5 miles from me, 1999 got 156k on the clock and is Auto. I always thought spares were a nightmare to get hold of and head gaskets went pop all the time.

but i might stop by and have a look at it later this week.
any advice on what to look for on these?

cheers
james

Beware of the auto's, the boxes are prone to loosing gears and expensive to repair
