Hi there. Can anyone reccomend a decent oil to use in the transfer box, manual gear box, front axle & a suitable oil for the LSD.
Can you use a fully synthetic in the gear box, does it make a difference from a cold start?

Is the gear oil not the same for the transfer box, manual gear box & front diff? I beleive the rear diff takes LSD oil but there seems to be so many different variations from company to company.

Would would your choice be for the manual gear box oil & transfer box & fornt diff for a LJ70. I planned to use semi synthetic Miller TRX 75w90 semi synthetic basically for everything except the LSD & Engine.

I don't know enough about yotas to be definitive but 75-90 for the front axle and gearbox is fine - consider Difflock Evo2 as it has 3 times the lifespan and lots of good stuff besides - and maybe for the t/f box as well (the BBL says straight 90 tho'). Defo LSD for the rear axle.
