i like did you make the shock towers yourself? and tell me about the leaf springs are they made of plastic? where did you get them from?

The rolling gear is from a Tamiya Big Rig with extended chassis rails. Rear suspension is walking beam setup.

Leaf springs are made of steel, the axles are from a Tamiya TLT, wheels are Hummer.

Have a look at this link, this is what you can use to start with and add a front axle to make 6x6

just out of curiosity... is the intermidiate axle a 'through' axle or is it an ordinary axle?

Its a through axle, true 6wd, all diffs are locked

When I started this build I knew I wouldnt really be able to do it, so after doing nothing with it and having way too much fun in full size 4x4s I handed it over to my mate Dready and this is where he is at now
