The difference between event advertising and a member, unconnected with the venue arranging a meet of difflockers at said venue.

Cheers.

Perception: The way in which something is regarded, understood, or interpreted.

The Difflock gods, mafia etc, may not believe that said 'meet' is not actually business and financially motivated, and therefore decide against said 'meet' being advertised in Differshire.

BTW, it's been a while since we've had a North West Differs meet, who's up for an evenings get together at the Watermillock (Toby Carvery), Crompton Way, Bolton sometime soon?

PS, I have no connection with said hostelry in any way, except for the fact that they often take my money in exchange for the odd pint of Guinness!

I suppose one of the mods, or the mod that removed it if you know who it was.

Seeing as Xrhino has no financial link to, or incentive from, the company involved could the thread be reinstated as there's no other practical way of all the NW differs getting to hear about the proposed meet?

After all, that is one of the purposes of difflock, to create a community of likeminded individuals who can meet and support each other. So its hardly going against the grain.

I'm really not that bothered TBH

thanks for bringing it to the mods attention Ged but really, it's no biggie
I just thought it would be nice to have a regular place to meet up that's all.

It's a decent site and cheap too, it would be a shame for it to close because not enough people attend. Sorry if I broke the rules.

Stick it back on - looks like there may have been some sort of misunderstanding.

Ah, yes it's all in the detail Wink

"bringing difflockers together since 2004"

That's all I was trying to do, my mistake was including the price which made it look like I had a financial interest.

Ged, why aren't a trader anymore?
