just spoke to a contact at Olympic oils and he said the price has just gone up again to £18:90 per box from £17:50. (bulk pallet purchase, 48 boxes, cash on collection, trade only) so once the cash and carries have sold through their current stock, the price will creep up again. couple this with the fact that there is less liquid waste out there in the cold weather and prices of waste are set to rise.

on the up side , every year the MOT kills more and more older wagons capable of using WVO.
so less demand.
a huge number of the commercial bio producers have given up too, seems the govt doesnt want em .

Tescos in Lufbra are selling 5 litre bottles of sunflower oil for £6.
Buy two for £10. (£1/litre)
And 5 litre bottles of veg oil for £5.
Buy two for £9. (90p/litre)
Their diesel is on sale at £1.36/litre.
And 1 litre bottles of mustard flavoured oil for £2.49 - presumably for those with hot-hatchbacks....?

Price is about the same in Costco today, presume I would need to pay duty if I was to use it?

Not good news ahead I'm afraid. Tried to buy a couple of pallets of svo today from the manafacturer, only to be told the price has gone up to £19:49 per 20L. Stock up while you can, places like costco buy a few months ahead, so are still at the old price for now.
I bought 2 pallets at Costco at £18:49 per 20L.

Now two bottles (20 Litres) for 20 quid.
I presume you can just pour sunflour oil into your tank - at least during the summer.
