|

Does anyone know where I can get a single nut as per the attached photo. It is for alloy wheels fitted to a 1995 Suzuki Vitara JLX 1600 cc 16v soft top that has been modified as an off-roader. I don’t believe the wheels are original as the tyre sizes are 215/80/15.
The dimensions of the nut are:
19mm Hex socket
Overall length = 50mm
Length from the end of the flats and shank to the chamfer is 37mm
Angle of chamfer looks to be 60 degrees
Max diameter = 22mm
Diameter of barrel onto the wheel stud = 15mm
Thanks for your help!
PS Photo won't upload! PM me and I'll send photo

Sounds a perfect place if he is in the US of A.
bits4vits will prove much handier if in the UK.
'Suzuki Monster',
i will PM you a Email address,
send me a picture of your 'wheel nut' and i will see if i have the correct nut kicking about.
& a picture of the wheels would help, so i am sure what it is you need.

This is the nut that 'Suzuki Monster' requires.
I dont have any with a thread to suit a Vitara.
Does anyone have any of these, or know where to get?
(will post the wheels pics, when i get them.)

Sorry I couldn't help...
Do you know anyone handy with a lathe? they could cut you one to match?
I'd ask my CNC Supplier, but a oneoff from them wouldn't be cheap... but if you knew someone who tinkered in their garage...?

I have suggested to 'Suzuki Monster' that he tries a standard Vitara nut on the stud to see that it actually has Vitara studs fitted.

The standard Suzuki nuts are M12x 1.25mm pitch, Dihatsu/Toyota are M12x1.5mm.
Once you know the pitch (Georges idea is easiest if you don't have a thread gauge) try ringing some of the big alloy wheel suppliers.
Those are the sort of nuts you get when fitting alloys to a car that was equipped with pressed steel wheels, to save fitting longer studs.

Thanks guys for your comments. I'll be finding a standard vitara nut and take it from there. Also looking at possibility of extending a standard nut, if it fits. In the meantime, I'd appreciate any other ideas.
Cheers
