What are the gv's like?
How similar to the old vitara are they?

the "underneath" is almost exactly the same..

rear has a panhard rod rather than the A-link/third link bar and heim joint..

overall they arent bad, but they are about 1 to 1.5 inches lower (chassis/suspension) than the "old" vitara..

same running gear, i think if the engine is the 1.6 its the same engine, few more electronics tho to go wrong..

i know the V6 is different (alot more complicated electronically), than the standard.. but either way as good as is the same.

had my TD GV 3 wks now & its a nice motor to drive although I haven't modified it as yet....saving the pennies. Used to have a TD vitara with the mazda engine & that was a good motor. Had no end of bother with the petrol Vits & I'd prob always stick with the dervs now

I found the ride a lot better but the bonnet seemed higher so its was more difficult to place.
