she's changed quite a bit since you last saw her, arches re-profiled to defender shape, defender arches, 1" spacers, and painted her satin black.
thinking a set of lr axles next and pickup it

reet
well as promised there will be pics, and the front is nearly sorted.
what we're doing is using standard landrover hockey sticks with rose joints from the 3 link, that way we can keep the chassis mounts and hopefully gain some travel. the only thing is we're having to crank th4e radius arms in 2 inches so it will meet up at the chassis. also weve got the props, theyre pretty close but both need shortening about an inch. oh and we need a toyota drive flange (gearbox end) thats circular instead of butterfly shape, theres not enough room to redrill on the front prop, so if anyone has one cheapish
thats it i think..

Woooooooooah Noah. please tell me that isn't finished? They need to be mounted in double shear. The axle link mounts are going to be going through a lot of forces and that will not last 2 seconds as it is.

Good good, just in an earlier post you said that the 4-link was done and I wouldn't want you going out in an unsafe truck

axles...theyre on...!!! well kind of, need to:
finnish the link mounts (bracing etc)
do something with the front shock turrets (theyre where the manifolds want to be)
make/get shocks (having trouble finding shocks long enough and cheap enough, so might make them, ill explain if we do it)
work out coilovers/springs
props (drilling flanges, shortening etc)
then get the tyres mounted onto rims
oh i forgot painting the axles...
thats just the axles, the minimum on the axles...
soon i want to get the v8 running, then if it doesent work we'll but another v8 in. aklso want to see if the gearbox works.... lalala

That V8 was a sweet runner when we pulled it out of the rangy so hopefully it will be fine once you've got it plumbed in!

Hi, personaly, having got little toe when it was even 50% there, i wouldent v8 a suzuki, for 100 reasons, however, you cant take the v8 out of little toe, so thats how its staying
right it uses a borg warner 3 speed gearbox, with a hilux transfer box on it. its very long though, and i doubt you could get it on a standard length sj, little toe is about 100" wheelbase now.
good luck
