fitted seats from suzuki swift into my sj 410
thimk seats were from a sport model cos they had side bits to hold you in and easy to swap not too much hassle
if doing it again would go for bucket seats but thats only a personal preference

Depends on what you use them for..
i have seen suzuki;s with everything from Smart car seats, to Subaru seats (which are quite common)
I was looking at some leather effect buckets quite cheap on ebay.

Choose wisely tho. I have 2 Recaro adjustable buckets out of a Honda hot hatch (I think) in my Wrangler and they don't allow much cushioning when bouncing about. Not much spring. They hold you well but not uber comfy I have to admit.

You can make almost any seat fit so long as there's room, you just have to modify the runners.
My brother has Honda CRX seats in his and they're perfect.
I on the other hand have Cobra Monacco bucket seats in mine and they're great off road but bloody uncomfortable on a bit of a run!!

Ahh, that would be the "all exits covered stupidly scary down or up hill rock crawl moosive steps seating arrangement for emergency situations project' then...............
The idea was sound and the need is definitely there......
It was the execution which let it down...................
The engineering was less than desirable.............

KAB Seating
Looks like they still do vehicle seats, as well as office chairs. Several firms make commercial/industrial vehicle seats, though note that Simon's has "low profile suspension". Fit one from something like a coach and you would end up with a driving position like the bucket and chuck it seat but without the panic handling advantage.

Swift seats fitted in a dream, as advised used original SJ runners to restrict height and allow adjustment. Thanks for the tips!
