Hi all i am going to rebuild my winch a t max ew11000 i want to know what grease do i put in the greabox ???? Thanks Daz Very Happy

Any common multi-purpose lithium grease will do, same as most prop shaft UJs take.

I just use an old tooth brush to apply a thin coating over the gearboxes internal parts, packing too much grease in there just adds unwanted drag, though that is more of a problem on winches like the Superwinch EP9 where the gears still turn with the drum when free spooling. Make sure you don't get any grease on the winch brake.

I packed mine with waterproof, axle bearing grease, from a motor factor, for repacking boat trailer bearings......Waterproof, it won't wash out or become runny due to water ingress.
