hello from ches vegas. acquired doris* back in the summer and now finally got round to joining difflock. Only pic i have to hand is one from when she was on sale:

she's g reg and done a 120k. 200tdi rather than the original turbo d, some OME shocks and few other new bits. Her belly seems in good condition but there's some rot in the doors and footwells. I'm new to all this and from what i can gather rusting footwells is a standard feature on defenders and people i've asked about it just say live with it. Seems a bit cruel just to sit her in the rain given she seems in good shape for her age so is it worth getting a tarp or proper posh cover? or does that just make things worse trapping moisture in? any advice appreciated.

She'd been sat still for quite a while so was chuffed she made it up to cape wrath and back this summer. Haven't had much time to play yet but had a good bounce around on houndkirk road back in the summer and finally got her muddy the other day down nr longcliffe. More of this please

ian

*previous owner's daughter christened her this and the name captures her personality well.
