If theres a heap o petrol in it, it might be too "dry" for the fuel pump....

When I worked for a local garage/recovery operator we used to burn the misfuel in our trucks all the time.
Drain down man used to mark the containers, as to whether it was mostly diesel or petrol, and we used to blend accordingly.
Only got it wrong once and put too much petrol in the 16 tonner, just lost power, drained out half the tank and refilled with neat diesel.
That was the only problem.
If the fuel was nearly all petrol, I used to burn it in the outboard...made it smoke a bit more than usual, bet never had a problem.

33% petrol may be a little much - but if running OK

its running great, although the lift pump has just died at 99500 miles.
fitted £25 quid lecky one and running great again.
had a poke around in the fuel tank and everything is nice and clean too.
like bertie i was worried bout the pump, but veg oil is usually a good lubricator.

I use misfuel in mine but only when they've accidently put £5 or £10 worth of petrol in before realising.... not a full tank.
It's difficult to know exactly how much petrol is in there without knowing how much diesel was in to start with (or vice versa) but I work on around 10% as being the safe zone.
