Can a 89 Fourtrak run on Avtur??? Will it need oil adding if i do and how much????

yes it can, please post the video of either the takeoff or the ensuing explosion.
just because i have a sick mind you understand
seriously, it can and has been done, whether the vehicle is suitable i couldnt comment. you would need to add oil and bio seems to be the best additive due to it`s high lube properties.

Thanks chaps, interesting stuff. I have a good supply of this waste avtur if required, some of it will have hydraulic oil in it aswell so that should act as a lubricant for the pump.

a great many 300 tdis are scooting around on the stuff as we speak, the mod get away with it because HMRC dont go into their establishments.
yes it will work and with a bit of two stroke or veggy oil it will mechanically be alright
VOSA will do a shawshank on you if you get caught on the road with it.
