It would be too much to ask Colin to do this. And Rob can only open the site for a certain number of days a year. Every free day he gives us is money out of his pocket.
But I have a suggestion I am willing to work on.
We have a day out at the site during one of the regular open days on a Sunday. I could see if we could camp over on the Saturday night (no driving on that day so as not to eat into the quota). Say charge £10-£15 pounds for the camping. Perhaps a donation to Rob for the camping and we pay our own entrance fees to Rob for the Sunday.
To make this work we would need at least ten vehicles to turn up. This would give Rob some extra revenue on the Sunday.
We could do some limited games as there would be none Differs on site.
If others want to join in they could make a donation. Not sure if there are any insurance implications on this.
Perhaps July so as to miss the school holidays and get the max turn out.
Before going any further I would need to discuss it with Colin first.

I like your idea Mr Cheese
I don't mind paying Rob the entrance fee.. And then making a donation to Colin
Would just be nice to see a load of differs there for a meet
Plus I've already brought 2,000 jars of jam

Colin is OK with me talking to Rob. So I have called Rob@Core and I am waiting for his reply. Then it is down to interest from you lot.
If we can get a social event with camping that would be great.
If anyone brings a buggy (Mr Diesel), then I want a go
