The rear Shocker Rockers give us about 23 1/2 inchs of travel at the shocks which equals about 39 inchs at the tires thats with the other 3 tires on the ground which I'm Very Happy about

Ya it is a bit of a birdnest under the bonnet Smile I told my auto elect mate that I wanted it as simple as possible EG one ignition wire ! but because we are running daul voltage 12v ignition 24 v starter winch ect, thats what we got it was a lot neater than that but we have had to take the cab off a couple of times to replace the gearboxs cases that I busted

The air filters on the dash do look good but are loud when you have the foot down !!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is a vehicle fleet number. it was under the paint and also had a pressed ali plate on the rear where the number plate should be.

Hi Mike. Yeah VOSA trip is for first MOT. It has got to be inspected and plated then MOT.

The Inspection is because it has not been MOT in the UK before. I think I may not need to have it plated as it has the axle weights etc on the manufactures plate.

Should be a interesting day out as they dont know what to test for.

The challange was to keep it as a tipper and fit a crane to load it! I didnt want to move the body back and chassis mount because the current weight distribution is good and the departure angle steep.
I mounted the crane in the front corner of the bed and sandwiched the bed in 12mm plate.on the lower plate I fitted an ordinary 50mm towball and fitted a free swinging hydraulic jack leg. A pneumatic bed lock was fitted to the opposite side to stop the bed twisting.
I did 6 two ton loads of hardcore in tip mode last week and loaded some reasonable timber in crane mode this week.............seems to work!

The one which went up on eBay a week or so back with the non standard front wings. Unimog ownerships a small world. If you pop over to benzworld and look at the signature of any post of mine I'm hosting the full workshop manual, feel free to download it.
