Not just Club members, but any of you NE bods!!
I've just had a long phone call with a chap called Johnny Wharton, about a TV program he's making for BBC3 - there's not too much in the way of details, but it's basically about looking at how things we use are made. He's after someone interested in 4x4's specifically, and Julia Bradbury (from Countryfile) is presenting.
He's going to try and make it up to the RTV at Memsie on Sunday to see what we get up to and have a chat, but would like to speak to some off-roading types beforehand...
You can phone him direct on 07717 883748, or send him an email jonnywharton22 (at) hotmail.com

Given the way offroading is usually portrayed on the TV. id be very wary of such an excercise.
PS Julia is chief bobble hat.
i remain hopeful that this wont be the case . but i have yet to be convinced that it wont descend into anothing " look at these wallys and their homemade deathtraps tearing up the countryside "

I did broach this subject, and was assured that this was not the case - they are showing how the products we use in life (the specific example I was given was products used to protect car bodywork, such as
waxoyl) are made.
