Turner Winch

Hi all,

I am new to the forum and have recently purchased a 404. Smile

It is in very good condition but I have had to do some engine work as the camshaft and valves where shot. There is a few small jobs to do and it will be off for a MOT.

The reason for the post is I have just got hold of a new mechanical Turner drum winch which I am planning on fitting to the front of my Mog.

The winch was designed to be driven from the crank on a engine but as this is not possible on a 404 I would like to run it from the PTO.

The only snag is I dont have a PTO and am struggling to find one. Can anyone point me in the direction of a PTO set up for a 404.

Try westfield 4x4, atkinson vos or ebay.

I have tried all the above and not had any luck. Will just have to keep a eye out for one.

AV sold one through ebay about 2 - 3 weeks ago, they are kinda common.
