Not new to the site, usually just looking in quietly. Recently got myself a Tamiya CR-01 with Unimog shell. Already been doing a few mods to improve it.
Not my first RC, got 2 Thunder Tiger ts4n's. One with 2 speed transmission and loads of mods (red skyline) The celica has a bigger engine which will be going in the skyline Very Happy

My full size motor is a very modded Isuzu Trooper, Just fancied a Rc crawler to play with Laughing

Yeah they do chew the tyres off! I run the skyline on alloys with a cut slick, they grip well and don't wear too badly, I try avoid doughnuts after previous damage i've done Embarassed

Quite looking forward to getting the crawler out properly and seeing what it will do. I've locked the diffs, weighted the wheels and cut the tyre foams, been playing about with the suspension settings but only so much can test it in the back garden! same as my nitro cars just for a bit of fun really, try not take it too serious, got the big un for that!
