Don't worry I'm not going to ask about using astra shocks on my spoa conversion or anything like that!
What I need to know are the open and closed lengths of the mk2 astra shocks so I can see if they might fit on my lada. Even a rough idea or if you have one you could measure it would be awesome. Ideally I suppose I'd like 14" closed and 22" open.
Or if people have any other ideas?
Thanks folks!

thanks! that is perfect!
annoyingly though i went into my motor factors, where they had mk2 astra shocks in stock, right length but i was expecting an eye on both ends, but the lower had the post type fitting. also they were nearly £40 each!
not what i was expecting!
is this right? i thought they were cheaper!

Where are you measuring the shocks from? The middle of the ring and the bottom of the pin?

shocks should be measured from Centre of eye to where chassis would be (with one rubber on)
