Hi there, I have a '02 terrano, I plugged it in to my laptop with autoenguinity and on current data my iat is reading 450 degrees celcius!! I do live in sunny devon but its not that sunny!
there isnt a seperate iat sensor so im guessing its built into the maf sensor.
Question is, does anybody have a wiring diagram so i can know what wire it is? Thinking a quick (cheap) fix is to stick a variable resistor in there and just set it to a average temp for the time of year.

I do have a wiring diagram, but the only way i can post it is to print it, scan it and then post it, printers run out of ink so im stuffed at the moment.
I think your right the IAT is integral with the Maf sensor, diag shows 3 wires going to the ECU, terminal no's 223 224 & 218 plus 1 wire to the diag socket, alas no colours shown, if i manage to get some more ink ill post tomorrow.
