Hi
Today i noticed that i had cooling liquid in the front passenger side.
I looked in the enginebay but cant see anything there , but the overflow and top of the radiator was empty.
The radiator took only a a few decilitres, the overflow was empty.
drove a short trip, and the the cooling liquid was back in the front passenger side.
It seems to come from the middle consol behind the radio, but not sure about that.
So any ideas to what has blown up?
Regards Rune
The car is a 2007 lefthand drive 1.7 multipoint injection.

Could possibly be your heater tap, these tend to expire.

Yup definitely the heater tap.
It is easy to replace, just a bit awkward to access.
Replace it with a newer ball valve tap (the factory original design is flawed.).
You could retro-fit a generic one from a plumbing supplier.
Otherwise there are some made specifically for the niva, they appear on ebay occasionally.
I recently replaced mine, and the ball valve tap is much much nicer!

I recommend 3 min of warm up (yoga/Thai chi sort of ****) before you attempt this as you get yourself in some mean angles and cannot get out quick when cramp hits,
