We had a great day at Creeton Quarry photographing the lovely girls for the Team Chaos 'Mud Maidens' calendar.
Just shout 'PANTS' at Colin next time you see him.
If you wish to preserve your sanity you WILL buy a calendar, otherwise the photos of 3 men in pants will be posted here in glorious technicolour!!!
(PS Well done to Mr Batch for his tireless fund-raising, Sainthood will surely be bestowed upon him one day)

Pants- just about sums it up- a group of us KORC regulars, loosely known as the South Lincs Mountain Rescue Club thought it would be a good crack to go to the photoshoot at Creeton Quarry on Saturday. Ok, we knew it would be nowhere as good as KORC but we gave it a go, we got muddy, we got stuck, I even managed to smash my front diff to bits dragging chunks of rock out of the way of one of our stuck trucks. BUT, what an un-organised, disappointing event overall- the main attraction- the photoshoot was conducted in an area of the quarry that we were not, as pay and players, supposed to enter, but we did out of curiousity and we did get a glimpse of some T & A! The thing is, that when we indicated that the young ladies might want to be photographed on our vehicles, our request was declined- not wishing to push the point that getting photos of our vehicles with models posing on/over them was the primary reason for our being there-we packed up and left! Why bother telling us that we could have pictures taken with models on our vehicles to start with? The only real loss is the fact that we would all have donated very nicely to the charity for a few A4 prints of our vehicles had we have been asked, we would even have queued up in a sensible, polite manner for 30 seconds of snapping-it would not have taken long to photograph every truck in the quarry there were that few of us! It matters not now, a missed opportunity to raise more money for your cause. Better luck next time.

Not wishing to get all uppity but all of the girls were there until very late in the day. The photography carried on until the light faded. Where were all the offroaders? they'd ******** off before noon.
Obviously some people thought they'd get some T&A first thing in the day and were not prepared to wait.
Due to the freezing conditions the girls were using the site office as a dressing room, which was away from the 'off road' area. If you'd stayed a bit longer you could have seen the photoshoots which took place in the main quarry.
Everyone involved gave their time freely and it took a lot of organising to get 12 photoshoots organised for the calendar. At this time of year there are only about 6 hours of usable daylight - you do the maths.
I am not involved with the event but I take exception to your comments and would advise that you think about it carefully before complaining further.

But why should we not complain? In the various posts we read,(that I notice have been retracted now- but are still to be found on similar other sites,) the posts we based our whole day's outing on, we were lead to understand that "unique photo oportunities with scantily clad ladies on YOUR vehicles" were available, not just the chosen few for the calendar. Once we had exhausted the accesible areas of the site and, unwittingly, a few off-limit areas it was well into the afternoon, We approached the photoshoot and enquired about having our vehicles snapped and were told they were 'only shooting the calendar' so with nothing else to do, we left- donation money still in pocket, because no-one seemed interested in trying to take it off us apart from the entrance donation. We didn't go expecting to find the world's best off-road site, we didn't expect to find unlimited mud/rocks/woods/water etc etc, we didn't expected on-site restaurant /showers/jetwash etc (although the overhead 'rock wash' was pretty good for rinsing off the mud) We go to KORC for that- all we wanted was someone to take a few snaps of our vehicles with girls on the bonnets! Just like it said in the 'advert' Not really too much to ask, is it?

What I am saying is that there WERE opportunities like you ask but you'd already left and gone home at that point. Speak to the people that DID stay to the end.
They had to get the 12 photos for the calendar organised - that was the whole purpose of the day - the extra stuff could then follow, which it did, BUT YOU'D GONE HOME

Hi,
I didnt know that anyone had asked to have photos of the girls on their bonnet and had been refused, this is the first I have heard of it and if I had known I would have acted straight away. My car is very visible and I would have hoped one of you would have thought to come directly to me and had a word so it could have been sorted at once and we could have explained that the bonnet photos were to be done after the photoshoot which I am sure you will agree must take preference as the girls must remain in a clean condition for the calendar piccys.
The posts on Difflock were removed by me so as not to clutter up the forum with an event that had now passed.
This is the first complaint I have ever had in 7 years of Team Chaos and I really wish you had approached me first before posting these comments as it would all have been sorted on the day. I would hope that you will enlighten any other forums that you may have complained on as to the reasons and circumstances etc so that they now will see WHY this was. Otherwise you may well damage our fundraising through no fault of our own. Again, if only you had spoken to me instead of leaving dissatisfied.
Regards
Colin.

Hi Col,
Glad to hear all went well for you - shame I could not make it down to this outing.

Andy.
