Flipping is bad It hurts
Though I thought the 'stinger' was more of a slide? So driving into a hole you didn't nose in and jam, in which case it needed to have it legs right at the front? Whereas now, the winch would jam?
I think that was more of a question like; whats it meant to do?
Another interesting build to watch

because its now 7ft wide i need to loose some width so ive decided to shorten the pasinger side in atempt to move the diff away from the sump i think i can loose 4-5" so out came the slitting disc and you can see how the twin walled axle is put together
and hows these for beadlocked wheels 20" ready for blasting and powder coating

just a few little ones but im still on with it the fronts been shortened and links made ive a few pics but they arnt that much further
after having the wheels done i had to have a trial fit this is on the bump stops i can get full lock and ive only 20" clearance under the lowest part of the diff
so its moving on very slowly because of waiting for parts but while im waiting for bits id thought i would do a bit on my road car apart from the ugly SPAM wings it will prob turn out as tall as the mogyj
bumper is at powder coaters and the 6" lift coils are on the way from dave at llama4x4

Are beadlocked wheels not illegal for road use?

nope the coilovers are heading for a 4wd jago
as i had allready got the 6" lifted coils for the tj
and on the yj is destined for some 14" travel fox air shocks
ive not done anything on the yuppy jeep because ive been getting the road going jeep up and running theres quite a lot to do when you lift any 4x4 over 3" but once thats back on the road i will post the updates

Thought they wer for use with the winch, a plasma or strap rope running through that can pull the front end in allmost any direction, good if you only have a winch on the front.
Thats some great work by the way.
