selling the sportrak - make me an offer

im gonna sell this sportrak as i cant afford the welding that needs doing on the chassis. ive been told it is an easy job but i dont have the funds due to me MOTing my focus.

its metallic green 1600 ELXi, 4 good tyres, brand new spare, brake new rear brake cylinders and brake pipes (mot pickup rectified). new rocker gasket, oil filter and air filter. new wipers.

the hardtop and sunroof work perfectly and do not leak. new front valance as the old one was dangerously rusted. (mot pickup rectified)

its failed an mot due to welding and a knackered brake pipe but the brakes are now fine, at least you know what needs done. the mot fail was 18th Jan.

86k, 4 previous owners.

new battery installed starts first time. immaculate bodywork except for one ding on the drivers door.

electric windows, rear door release, electric mirrors all working and fine. all electrics A1. interior immaculate, one fag burn on the passenger seat. 2wd/4wd work perfectly. half a tank of petrol.

the welding is a spot next to the petrol tank, one spot on the front mount of the drivers side rear leaf spring and a spot on the front end drivers side, the antiroll bar bracket has come loose and the hole for it needs welding and reattaching.

the front and rear bashguards have been removed for ease of access for the welding. the petrol tank will need to be removed to weld.

got quoted £200 for the work including vat and materials.

looking for around £400 ono just to make my money back. Located dumbartonshire, nr glasgow.
