hi

im trying to change the cut off switch in my samurai from a engine cut off to a battery cut off, but it doesnt work all it does is spark and not turn the power on,

any help would be appreciated

how have you wired it? are you using a proper battery isolater with correct amp rating

ive wierd it like it says in that picture and the switch is 500A

but i think ive found another way to wire it, would going from negative to the chassis work better?

im assuming you have a two pole in line isolater switch these are quite easily fitted to the live supply from the battery tap into live supply

if you have various live feeds from your battery you will have to divert them all through your isolator switch if you dont do this you havent broken the circuit and the smaller supplies will still be live

electrically its a standard Suzuki

and

yeah it is a two pole cut of switch,

how would you recomend wiring it up ?
