Hello
Have always found the Search function on the forum a bit of a PITA.
I got thinking and realised Google is probably capable of doing it.
After a quick search for tips, i found the answer.
HOW TO:
1) go to www.google.com
2) type in your search query e.g. suzuki samurai SU carb (typical example)
3) followed by site:difflock.com (box should now contain- suzuki samurai SU carb site:difflock.com)
4) press enter and hey presto.
i'm not sure if you all knew this already but i didnt and have found it extremely useful.
infact while searching for an answer to my auto choke problems i found an archived topic started by my brother in 2004 about the same problem. 5 years on it's still not been sorted

Haha it's funny you should ask for a link for that as you were the one who gave him the advice (which was to shove a nikki carb in)
here it is

Another way is to post and and say that you know there is a thread on here somewhere about what you want but you can't find it and one of those clever people who know how this new fangled computer malarky works will reply giving you the links.
Thanks to all you clever people, your skills are really appreciated.

I think personally the search works a lot better if you select the option to search for ALL of the words entered rather than any...
if you type "su carb fitting" for example it can come up with info about SUs, any other carbs and fitting anything
