hi
if i where to buy an agri registered mog with pto and hydraulics already fitted how difficult or expensive would it be to fit a 3 point linkage
do they ever come up second hand or would you have to source all the parts new
would it be easier to do up a tatty mog with the hitch already there

thanks harry

p.s
we have a fully equiped engineers workshop so some parts could be made and my dad used to have 2 mogs so knows a lot about them

It is almost always easier to source a Mog with the parts already on it.They are available. Usually the 3 point links for the square cab Mogs fetch £1500+ second hand, maybe more with arms etc, then you have the fun of fitting it.

atkinson vos has a few at the moment, full agri spec, theres also a few more out there, try tractor and machinery, etc but be prepared to 8-9k upwards for linkages and hydraulics. on the plus side, an agri spec mog is taxed as a tractor ***free tax *** and depending on how you "use" it you can legally run on red

thanks
i was just wondering as there are some good priced mogs at the moment with them removed and i was wondering if it would be economical to do
as the 3 point linkage adds such a premium
and yes i know about the red diesel and free tax
thats one reason its a preference over landys
obviosly the pto hydraulics and 3 point linkage
being the outhers
