Tesco veg oil BOGOF

tesco locally has 3ltr bottles of veg oil buy one get one free until the 18th.
don't know if this is a national promo or regional but it works out at a nice 42.5p per litre.
my local store is a small one with a ten item limit on special offers so i bought ten cases

Tesco around my way normally sell 3 litre bottles of sunflower oil for £2.72 (90.67p/litre), or buy two for £5 (83.3p/litre)

At the moment they are giving 5p/litre discount vouchers on fuel when you spend £50 in store)

Unfortunately they've not got any offers on their 3 litre bottles. But their 1 litre bottles (£1.01 each) are three for £2.50. So I've just bought sixty 1 litre bottles for £50, got the voucher, then got £3.50 off 70 litres of diesel (even though the voucher was valid until 02/06, I couldn't be bothered to wait until the tank was almost empty...)

They were even kind enough to leave them in their transit boxes (15 per box), so all I had to do was pick up four boxes.
And I got clubcard points for the oil and diesel purchases.

must just be irelands tesco with the offer, i checked in the other day and the 3 litre bottles were 2 for £5 the same as asda.

Nope, its in Tesco's in Wales as well!!

I've had two lots already, tried to get more last night and tonight and the shelves are empty!!

It was BOGOF on 3 litre bottles in Wisbech last week aswell, not sure if its still running..

However due to the number of eastern europeans here, the above comment still counts! lol

I ended up getting 160 bottles (not as many as I wanted - but didn't get the time to put into getting them )

I got the last 16 bottles from one store - just beating some Indian takeaway owners to them - that cheered me up

But there were some Chinese taking two trolley loads out when I got there - just too slow
