This looks like a promising base. You'd need to change the axle etc., but it seems a reasonable price. Utilities (gas, elec etc.) trailers are always well made too. Food for thought anyway...

It sure did, complete with hydraulic lid lifter. It had a roof tent on it originally, the guy bought for the tent and put the trailer on ebay for £250 buy now. Bl**dy bargain.

that would be a perfect basis for an overland trailer. majority of the work already done for you, just add on a few of your own ideas.

straightsix, that is a total bargain! looks good too. Cool

As you can see the Isuzu (Honda Horizon) is gonna pull the "Lid", whilst my Surf is pulling a widetrack Sankey. We're only going as far as the Anti Atlas so full Safari prep not really needed, we're not taking gas as we use petrol stoves as its easier to get the fuel. We reckon that trailers are better than roofracks, more room, less stress on truck, better handeling with a lower C of G, but thats just an opinion. A R/rack is going on the Surf but thats just for the Awning. The "Lid" will have a few mods tho and makes for a very secure storage bin.

We made this yoke up as a trailer to carry all the club equipment but it the quadtech box's would make a cracking starting point for a camping trailer
