Hi all, wondering if anyone can shed some light on my LPG issues. '91 Range rover classic 3.9 on an omvl gas system with a mixer rather than injected, starts and runs on petrol fine, switches over to gas but will only idle, any hint of revs over idle and it dies. I was thinking that the solenoids and gas supply side must be ok because it'll idle ok, changed the diaphragms in the vapouriser today thinking that could be it but to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas I might be overlooking as its getting a tad frustrating at the moment! Thanks, Martin.

Supply restriction : tank empty, choked filter, squashed pipe, one of the solenoids only opening partially (that might seem unlikely but does happen), faulty tank exit valve
Air problem : jammed catflap-style backfire arrestor, mixer internals fallen out

Hi
I would be interested to know whether this has been fixed?
Main is doing exactly the same thing but only about 20% of the time. Most times it switches over fine. When it does start to die if i quickly switch back to petrol it recovers instantly and then i can switch straight back to gas and its fine.
