cool piccys buddy
cant thank you guys at RJB enough for that parts that you donated to the events and the cash that you raised with them
however there is a couple of minor problems
problem 1...... i never got any RJB stickers for my car or a key ring
problem 2 ...... i never got a super flash marshal hi-vis for a donation or because i spent the most amount of cash at the weekend
i see the gear colin got

Hi All,
I echo those words. The guys from RJB donated loads of SNAP ON equipment for the auction and also the fabulous 11000lb winch as well.
The amazing thing is that the team that won the winch actually re donated it to Team Chaos and as a result I will be taking it along to the auction at the Mac next Friday so a massive thank you to them.
Everyone had a great time, the weather wasnt good today (Sunday) but it never dampened anyones spirits. On Saturday, the Tractor tyre pull was a massive hit as was the Bllindfold Driver event, both of which provided many moments of comedy and hilarity.
The punch event was a huge hit with everyone, the Team who set it out do so for the AWD Club and the placing of some of the punches was 'imaginative' to say the least.
I had a 'Match Race' with a young 6yr old Difflocker and his dad who I am sure will be along soon to post pics and Video of the race.
Our hearts were all won over by him and he had actualy collected over £118 in sponsorship on his own especially for the race and he really was an ace co-driver.
I would also like to thank Rob who runs Core 4x4 for allowing us free use of the site and not only that he, also donated a years worth of free off roading at the site as well.. 'Thank you' Rob, you are a true star with a heart of gold.
Pete and Katie were heroes, without their stirling efforts this event would never have taken place. I personaly cannot thank them both enough and I am privaledged to be able to call them friends.
And also thank you to the other people who donated things for the auction.
Grahame of Classsic LSE,
Phil Webb,
Andy Thomlinson of Ruftraks.
But the biggest 'Thank you' goes to the people who took the time and trouble to come along to support our event, without them we would never have raised such a huge amount of money.
If you came along please tell your friends how much you enjoyed yourselves, spread the word that the Team Chaos at Core 4x4 event is one of the best most fun and friendly events they will ever attend.
We have ALL succeded in our quest to 'Make a difference'
Best wishes and 'THANK YOU ALL'
Colin B
ps...I will be announcing the final total raised in the next few days.

Thank you all!!
What a great weekend!
Although obviously out of our green lane / p&p comfort zone, we were made to feel so welcome and were helped out by everyone. Despite it's best efforts overnight, even the weather couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of organizers, marshals & competitors alike!
Sorry I can’t mention everyone, but I can only ever remember 3 new names & faces at the best of times, so throw in forum names and avatars and you can forget it! I would however like to give a special thanks to Katie not least for supplying me with sweeties all weekend (I don't let Matt eat them, but I use him to 'harvest' them for me). (pete), whatever you do in the real world, give it up and become a children's TV presenter! All the way home, Matt would burst out laughing and say “remember when.....” and it's guaranteed your name was in there somewhere! & pretending to get stuck in the lake – genius!
It was a very emotional weekend for us. Having fought off breast cancer 2 years ago, my Mum, Matt’s Nanny, has been diagnosed with terminal bone cancer and has multiple brain tumours. You could say that she & my Dad need a little help at the moment. Being British, they find it very difficult to ask for and accept charity, but the support they (we) are receiving from MacMillan is absolutely vital and so greatly received.
So..... If any of you thought you were just out there having fun and trying to beat your mates or win a winch, think again. I had to cut short the phone call to my Dad last night as he (we) was overwhelmed with gratitude for the mad folk getting wet & muddy, doing what they can to help.
Just one other person I should mention, although I'm sure he'll try to pass the credit on to those around him. From the first message until we drove out of the gate, thank you Colin.
This world needs people like you.

Looks like a great event, hopefully if the summer one goes ahead I'll try and make it. Will have to bring the farm hack with me as I don't have another 4x4 at the moment.
Keep up the good work Colin!

thanks so much for the kind words.... i would just like to say that your son and you made our weekend and its for people like yourself that we do what we do at events like CORE4X4 with TEAM CHAOS
seeing and hearing the diffrence we make to other lives in hard times makes every sleepless night and back braking hour of hard work worth every second, i have in the last few monthes thought of packing offroading in and moving to other things but..... the people that we raise money for spur me on with my personal efforts and reafirm my dedication to the world of offroad and TEAM CHAOS while we are a small group we do the best we can
hope to meet you guys again soon and see you at the next event
all the best
pete
PS im a tyre fitter at the moment but a welder by trade

Thankyou Colin, Pete and katie and all others that helped organise the event. Was awesome and good to meet peeps. The events were funny. Especially Scot not knowing where the blind driving course ended and got me to do double the course. and I claimed his title, although he seems to think that I sabotaged his run. would I?
Unfortunately I don't have any photos because my phone was dead but I do have some great memories.
If I don't sell me. Rangie it will definately be coming to the summer event.
Cheers guys, keep up the good work, always appreciated.
