Mercedes Unimog Dash Warning Lights.

Hi new member took a while to find this forum, and i am jumping straight in with a problem, took my 1999 Unimog U100L off roading at the weekekd it was prety extreem deep water steep climbs and decents, all good fun but got a warning light on the LCD part of the dash it is a octagon with an arrow pointing away at 12 o'clock position and a series of horizontal lines down both sides, then after pressure washing the Mog another warning light came on it is an oblong with horizontal lines with 2 curved arrows going from top to bottom through the middle of the oblong arrows pointing down, a bit like this ) (

the octagon with an arrow and lines round it is a warning icon, somewhere else on the lcd display it will tell you what it is, if not you will need to scroll through the menus to find out what, remember the old phrase "when in doubt RTFM" hope this helps a little, the newer electronic mogs like to throw up some weird faults when they get wet

Some of the guys on benzworld have later mogs, they may be able to shed some light if you don't have the manual?
