For emergencies also consider basic essentials such as a first aid kit, plenty of food+water and a change of cloths. Also there are the universal spare parts eg. Duck tape, cable ties, carrier bags and WD40. Its even been known for broken suspension links to be repaired temporarily using ratchet straps.
I don't think there is much that isn't mentioned on this list, though some of the items could do with translating into UK English.

What that check list I doubt it, that list pretty much everything you could ever want or need, but it's worth a read in case there is anything obvious missed. Also quite often in a group it turns out there is a surprising amount of that list that is covered by at least one person
I have a similar size ammo box, which is usually just has all the smaller metal items in it such as shackles, hi lift parts and the other set of wheel nuts, as well as some of the "universal spares" listed above.
I do carry an RAC card for the recovery service, but most of the time its been fairly simple stuff to fix with basic tools, even if its just a temporary fix.

Dont forget to secure that box down, when out and about, or you might need more than a first aid box
