Well, the wheel arches also is a work in progress. I`ve made them with some scrap metal i found at home. I must sand them, and make somthing similar for the rear arches.

I like it a lot. Makes me wish it snowed here in Australia. Have you got any action shots or maybe even a video.

Not yet, but when it`s complete i will try to make a video
It is 50 kg too heavy on the front axel (830 kg) with the plow mounted but that is no big deal.
Ps! Sorry about my poor english

This looks really great, congratulations!
Q.: Do you use this winch for lifting the plow and if, can you do it "on the fly" while driving.
What is the weight of whole solution.
Thanks,
Oh, and do you use snowchains while "plowing" ?

That's all part of the fun. Making an improvement, then trying it out to see the difference. At the moment I'm working on an FM radio transmitter. There is this hill off in the distance I want to reach. I'm slowly getting the range further and further.

Hello LeGiga. I use the winch to lift the plow, and yes, i can do it while driving. The winchcontrol is hanging iside the door, so i can use it all the time. I am not using snowchains, cause i have good tyres with studs in them, and my road is flat, so there is no problem. It`s a Niva you know

Some updates from the Norwegian Niva:
More power for the snowplow. 120Ah alternator from an Audi diesel.
Welding some rust...
Ready for some paint.
And now the fun starts. Putting it back together...
New lights.
New wheelarches (homemade).
Almost finnished...
To be continued.........
