A good mate of mine has done it, and apparently is well worth it. It can be alot of hassle, regarding Visa's etc for all sorts of countries with seemingly made up names, but defaintely a once in a lifetime experience.

| I did it in a Skoda Favorit, cost me £140 and we made it into the middle of Kazakhstan before holeing the petrol tank. I knew a 4x4 would make it and my friends in a Surf and Paj did but I think that takes away from the sprit of the rally. I will be doing it again when my son is 18, so only 17.5yrs to go!!!
