Hi,
I'm puzzled by the lack of mail. ????
If it helps, you can usually find WW2 aircraft parts like this on Ebay, probably under AUTOS, Aircraft. Or maybe there is another grouping for militaria?

The problem is there are not many spitfire owners on Difflock.
Its a nice collectable but I have stopped collecting as I find I spent too much time at the Carboot and mooching on Ebay when I could spend it fixing the jeep or camper, not to mention the lack of space.
Why dont you try it on a specialist site or Ebay?

Aww! come on. There must be a few differs with a Spitfire in the back garden in need of a compass
The problem with going to a dealer or putting it on ebay is that they will want to pay nothing for it.
The whole point of posting was to get some interest going for Team CHAOS.
Oh well I guess it will just have to carry on sitting under the Spitfire tail wheel.

Who will start me at ten quid for the compass for team Chaos.
I will arrange posting it to whoever wins, and you will just need to send a cheque for charity.
The dove tailed box alone has got to be worth a tenner. After you have fitted the compass to your spitfire you could use it as a;
cigar box
tabaco box
niknak storage
ipod case

Ok Jon 30 quid it is then and I will match that and send a cheque to Chaos as well.
PM me your address and I will arrange it to be delivered. It is a compass that does not point North but always points to what you want most!
Please take this off sticky mods, as embarrassed as to how tight differs are for a good cause...........It's not a bloody advertisement to sell the damn thing!

Hi Orangev8,
thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to think of Team Chaos. The different ways Difflockers find to raise the much needed cash never fails to amaze me. Also many thanks to Jon for your generous bid, now all you need is the rest of the Sptifire and away you go.
Thank you so much for helping us to 'Make a difference' your donations are soooo important.
I thank you
Colin
