hi all, im looking for a ahelter to fix on the rear of my landcruiser...for cooking, relaxing, out of the elements...manly at club weekends...on the web ive found this http://www.carnopy.co.uk/ would like your views please? have you found something better?......thank's in advance Ricky

they are good looking but always a compromise as 1 size fits all
have you considered an "annexe" or "sun fly" from a tent - we have a large Khyam Excelsior dome tent, and an annex was £80 ; with poles, and the roof is enough to go over the tent and secure at the rear. so would go over a 4X4
likewise their flysheet would make a good awning
both would need pegging under tension to keef the roof from sagging onto the vechile as there is no "ceiling" bar

not really sold on the idea - single layer tent can mean cold and damp then fill it full of exhaust fumes.
