just bought a set of simex 33x11.5x16
im putting them on a discovery 1
what width wheels do i need to put them on
i know ive got to cut the arches but will i need spacers as well

hi, someone that knows discos will correct me.
You bought big tyres for a disco.
Do you have a lift on it & the power to drive them, are they only for offroad?
I think you will need 8x16" wheels with an offset, to save on the spacers that would be costing you from £150-200
And if the tyres are in there ok, & not rubbing your front radius arms, (adjust the steering stops if they are.)
You are going to require quite a bit of metal cutting & some wide arches to cover the rubber for the road. I hope its a 2 door!

yep its got a 2" lift, and its a 300 tdi, yes they are for off road use, yep its a 3dr and i know ive got to get some wide arches

Sounds like your set then.
maybe look at JCS4x4 wheels & tyres for your wheels,
If you cant get them locally from someplace that can supply wheels and fit your tyres, to keep the cost down.

Minimum rim width for them is 8 inch, maximum rim width 10 inch, recommend rim width is 9 inch.They equate to 290/75-16.
