removing an sj front clip
disconect all wiring from the headlights, inicators, horn and you will also need to disconect the oil sender wire this can be found just forward of the exhaust and about half way down the the block
you then need to unclip the brake pipes on the drivers side inner (right hand drive) wing as there part of the main clip
the you can find all the bolts marked in red on the pic belown and remove them. the arows are the lower door hinges and hidden bolts
dont forget when you open the doors you will find a singel bolt on both sides this is the hidden bolt... removeing the doors to get to the bolt is best as you have to take off the lower door hinge anyway

Under the "Service Manuals" section, sj413 is close enough for most things...

by the way, just thought this thread could do with some information about the commonly asked questions with vitaras, it seems they are the new popular off roader and more people are asking about things like how to body lift them, I checked in here before doing a search and didn't find anything, jus thought if anyone knows of a decent body lift faq or how to, stick it in here!

Sorry to have not been on here for a while...
Many of the dead links found in this forum have replacement sources at Ack's FAQ (http://www.acksfaq.com).
I am sorry to report that Suzukiinfo.com is no longer with us. Some of their documents can be found at rhinoman.org and lj10.com.
Later this fall, I will be in Australia - the location of Suzukiinfo.com - and hope to obtain a copy of most of the pdf files that were on the site. If I am successful, you should be able to access them via the search engine at acksfaq.com sometime in late November, 2016.
I hope that this helps!
