Our 12V starter doesn't work anymore (teeth don't engage) and so we've been forced to start a 24V upgrade early, which means twice as many batteries. Since the last one was held in with wood :) it was time to do things a bit more proper.
I made a hatch in the back bed, and made this carrier
Which clamps in place directly over the axle;
Plenty of room for travel.
Onwards and forwards,
catch you soon,
jim

Nice one, my battery box is virtually completely rusted away so am going to need to make something for myself...

Shaggy,
You had a 12V starter in your Mog? Do you know the part number or what vehicle it came out of?
cheers,
Dan
