Hi Guys,
I’m thinking of buying one of the SVO conversions, either DieselVeg or SmartVeg type things for my 300tdi Discovery.
But, the thing which I’m interested in is the new fuel tank, I don’t want in inside the Disco anywhere but underneath, is there someone who makes second tanks for veg oil? Or would it be an idea to change my current tank (90lt), and replace it with two smaller tanks (say 40lt and 50lt). If you follow that idea down, then it might be worth while to have a small tank for diesel, and keep the 90lt tank solely for veg oil.
Comments, suggestions, ideas anyone.

I would think that replacing the main tank of 90 ltrs with two in the same space would drop the capacity of both a good bit.
The result may end up 30 and 40 ltrs.
I am thinking about a second tank and if I do then the veg. tank will be in the car to keep the temp. up.
Having read some of the threads on the dedicated veg. oil forums I have decided not to make a pre-heater (300Tdi 110).
It may be something as simple as dipping the clutch when the engine is warm and switching an L-port valve from diesel to veg. oil. Then back again a couple of miles from hem.
I know a gadgey who specialises in fabricating st/st. He is based in Swadlincote...about 30-40 miles from thee.
His work is first class and his prices are low.
