Hello all,
Had a great day playing last weekend in the 404, and in a short space of time got stuck upto the axles in a bog
Unfortunately, the front difflock failed to do its job so i was down to three wheel drive
I have since checked the operation of the linkages, all working ok and with the front axle jacked up the diff lock appears to work when turning the wheels by hand, but not under load.
So, im guessing its an internal fault? and that means front axle removal and strip down? Anyone else had diff lock trouble? and or any suggestions etc.
Many thanks in advance.
Mike

The is some adjustment on the rods to try to get better engaugement,
But that said it's more likely that the difflock actuator fork is bent, westfield 4x4 do a repair kit.
