your best bet for farm work is a U900 or 406
these are the best for farm work, short wheel base, diesel engine, get one with a 3 way tipper body, and they are common for fitting hydraulic linkages and 3 way hitches,
best bet for you,
a decent one with everything fitted would set you back around £7000 ish. tatty ones for rebuild around £3000
good luck

For farm work and a 3 point hitch the 406 is the way to go. As far as buying one, I recommend going a bit further afield. www.ebay.de German Ebay is the place to get a good Mog on the cheap. You can be there and back in a weekend easy, the selectionis far better, and the cost saving will be substantial. I picked my 404 up near Dortmund for €3,000 and it was in immaculate shape. Just my 2 bits worth.
