Looking at buying a 3.0 V6 petrol shogun which has an LPG system on it. It is a Tartini system and I was just after some info?

What sort of reputation do they have all that sort of thing as I understand there is allot of variety in these systems.

Thanks in advance

Make sure when you buy it, its got a certificate of installation with it. I didnt when i bought a RRC. It cost me another £250 to get it up to spec and get the cert for the insurance Co.

Tartarini are pretty good, I'd say one of the best. I fitted one of their systems to Pam's 90 6 years ago which the importer then checked and certified, it's never failed to start or given us any problems since and that's on a daily driver 3.9 V8.

I agree with Dave, had a Tartarini system on my 3.9 Efi - 90 for about 4 years, only failed once due to a blown diaphragm in the gas regulator/mixer. Think it was off tune slightly and backfired causing it to blow. Turns out the installer (Certified) had too small a feed pipe to the mixer making the engine run too weak. Other than that no problems.
