You won't break them, front and rear difflocks as standard too.
Make sure you get the difflock actuation cylinders - makes it easier.

Come on dan , be specific, g wagen axles are good, very good, on an sj, the car will be light, cv's can go when using big TYRES,l with big engines and locker., there some after Market cv's now for g wagens that are ni on indestructable, and have been tested well.

I've broken more than 10 c/v's, i think i've done 2 or 3 short shafts, all on 35's, which are a little small nowadays.
As good as cal offroad c/v's may be they've still been broken.
Add to that wheel bearing issues, poor wheel choice and front diff rotation
Whilst they are good, they are totally blown into the weeds by landcruiser and patrol axles, they are much better thought out with fewer flaws and a better parts back up.

My meaning was that fixed to the remains of an SJ - he's gonna have a hard time breaking G axles.
Your G weighs about 5 tonne don't it Dan?

2230kg last time it was over the weighbridge, lighter than most standard one's.
That said i've broken just about everything on the mogs now.
