UK Unimog Fans,
We’re now in our fifth year of Mogfest informal meetings of like-minded Unimog enthusiasts gathering at steam rallies and other similar events. Below is our programme of meetings for 2009 and we hope that you will be able to join us at one of these events.
If you wish to take part in our meetings then please apply direct to the hosting event using the relevant entry form provided. Please also notify me of your intentions via e-mail so that we can keep track of likely numbers. Attendance at short notice and/or on the day may be acceptable but at the discretion of the organiser of the hosting event. Note that Unimog enthusiasts without vehicles are always welcome to visit through payment of the hosting event's usual entry fee, where applicable.
2009 Meet Programme
17 May 2009
Round Timber Club Reunion and Merrist Wood Open Day
John Harraway invites you to the seventh annual reunion for former members of the sadly now defunct Round Timber Club. Unimogs especially welcome! Merrist Wood is located off the A323 Guildford to Aldershot Road in Surrey. See www.mogfest.co.uk for Entry form.
13 - 14 June 2009
Fifth Midlands Mogfest at Astwood Bank Vintage Gathering, Astwood Bank, Worcestershire.
North Worcestershire Vintage Tractor and Engine Club invite all Unimogs this year's Vintage Gathering at the premises of S E Davis & Son. See www.mogfest.co.uk for Entry form.
26 - 27 September 2009
Second Alconbury Mogfest East, at the premises of Spartan Rescue, former RAF Alconbury. Repeat of the 2007 meet hosted by Mark Burnett. Please contact John Harraway (e-mail addres on www.mogfest.co.uk ) to register your interest in attending.
If you could apply promptly, particularly for the May and June meetings, then that would be most appreciated. Camping and exhibition space at Astwood Bank is going to be at a premium this year and will allocated on a first come basis. Entries should therefore be received by P Summers by 1 May latest, which will also get your vehicle details into the programme,
Note that all visitors must comply with the entry requirements on the event’s application form. More information and conditions of entry etc can be found on www.mogfest.co.uk
We look forward to seeing you at our Mogfest meetings.
Regards,
Stuart
