hi. i am planning on joining the bordc in the next month or 2 as a novice offroader, i am planning on doing some rtv days and things like that. could anyone let me know if my landy needs to be road taxed and moted for this or is it ok to take it there with out any of that.
i have a 3.9I v8 disco which is in good order apart from a corroded driver side sill and a hole in the driver side inner wing, i thought about putting it on the road again but would much rather have some fun with it instead and thought it would be better using a trailer to get it to and from events.

thanks for the help

kenny

That's about it except no sharp edges, bodywork hanging off if possible

And nothing left lying about the inside of the vehicle ready to hit you on the head!

The only problem you will have with trailering it to events is that you will be put into the trialler class and do the slightly harder sections.

Btw you will have probably seen me driving about Inverurie in a red 200tdi 90 Laughing

thanks for that guys. by the sounds of it my disco will be fine for that and going into the trailler section will just be abit more of a challange so should add to the fun. just got to sorce a trailer to put it on and i will be ready to go in.

my disco is standered just now but will change that as and when funds become available.

and yes james i think i have seen you going about inverurie now and again.

cheers again.
