I've just been watching an old episode of Last of the summer wine and towards the end a 404 Mog equipped with a HIAB appeared for lowering Compo in a canoe into the canal. Made me laugh. Looked like just the thing I could do with for mine, a HIAB that is not a canoe. Shame they are so expensive.

Funny you should say that. My first 4x4 was half a land-rover, when I lent the money to my brother to buy it. When he sold it, it went to a chap who did TV cars, and ended up as wesley's landrover (or one of them). Wonder if he still knows him?

We have a HIAB, I've spent 6 months trying to find a suitable 24V powerpack.
