we could either do laning or a pay n play day?

yorkshire would be nice for change, never laned that way, maybe
an over night in a field n get sloshed? wont take much for me, my
middle name is lightweight I think! Laughing

I can see clothing with UK patrol club on it, the usual things like,
t shirt,
caps,
hoodies,
Man-kini's

I'd join, although have been looking for a patrol for the past few months. I'm usually either around Ullswater or Durham.

There is a few nice lanes around here. A few easy drives (like "the old coach road") and some harder ones. I just know a couple of easy ones as I don`t go out often and even if I take the easy ones as I`m on my own.

I would be up for troll meet and laning anywhere as long as it`s not too far away. It seems that most of peeps showing interest in this thread are rather northern based so I think that both lakes or Yorkshire should be ok.

PS : "Gatescarth pass" is closed to vehicles with wheelbase longer than 100 inches so all long trolls are out unfortunately.

cheers

I know if falls on my day of work but I work most weekneds (off one every 3 weekends) and it will be difficult to find a date suitable for all.
For me its either a weekend before (23, 24) or weekend at 13, 14 of june but I need to check that as I`ve got a feeling that my mate is getting married on that date back in Poland so I might not be around.

How about the rest of You guys?? I might just take the holiday if need be (we have those 28 days now for a reason Very Happy )

cheers

Raf,

I've done a few little outings around the lakes when i still had the range rover on the road. At the moment i'm mainly out and about in County Durham / Northumberland when i get the chance.

I'm looking for a 2.8 td6 SE with leather interior, a good chassis and ideally sub 120k miles. Although finding them seems nigh on impossible!

When I find one i'd be happy to go on a few outings, with my sense of direction though i would make a terrible guide.

******, sbd I know sold one like that few months back. I will keep my eyes open. If You will be coming to lakes and fancy some easy laning gimme a shout.

Re possible meet: Anybody else interested??. Dadba`s proposition is fine by me, unless somebody else got anything different in mind.

We could meet up somewhere round Keswick and go towards Penrith via Old Coach Road (nice, long lane). Then there is a few lanes not far from Penrith either. I can do some recce before the possible meet-up if need be.
Or maybe overnight somewhere?? There is plenty of camping places round here.

Howabout some firm rules before we continue ?

1. To be a member of this elite club you must legally own a NISSAN PATROL.
2. To attend any meetings with this elite club your butt must be firmly placed upon a seat within a NISSAN PATROL.

I cant think of anymore rules/requirements at the moment. Confused

Anyone ????????????????? Confused

BTW. If anybody needs it I have a full scan of Nissan Service Manual (NOT haynes). Can even print a copy or 2 for a meeting at cost.

very interested in a meet, but does the numbers warrant its own club, with all the work involved, moderating etc, when we can just use this site as we all do anyway Question

Yep, I agree as well.

So is the 31st of may ok for everyone??

Also where do we want to hold the meet?? I think lakes might be a bit too far north for some (ideal for me thou). As pointed out before if we want to do some laning we would need a person happy with leading the group. I don`t feel confident enough to do it in lakes ( I`m quite new to all this 4x4 malarky ).

Can we have a show of hands from peeps interested and also a few possible locations so we can choose a place that is ok for everyone.

cheers
