it's easy to get them repaired and cheaper than the shipping on a new one. Whereabouts are you?

It should be pretty standard and all the axle bearings are available off the shelf so a good engieering shop should be a place to try. The cost of shipping alone for a replacement (untested) from Sweden would be ~£250 Shocked

I don'T think that it is just the bearings that are worn.
I think the gears might have stripped some teeth.
Every time 4wd is selected there is a loud knocking noise.
Also when the gear/transfer box will the engine be properly
Supported by the two remaining mounts.

If that is the case the it is much cheaper to get parts sent over than an entire t/f case.

email Michael and ask the question.
